4. HOW TO USE

For Professional Use Only:
This product must be used by a qualified hair professional. Do not use at home.

Preparation:

1. Wear suitable protective gloves

2. Use a non-metallic bowl and brush for mixing 

3. Do not use on persons under 16 years of age

4. Perform a patch test 48 hours before each coloring service

Developer Selection:

Mixing:

• Mix 1 tube (60ml) of Majirel 7.13 with 90ml of OTT Oxydant 

• Mixing ratio: 1:1.5 (60ml color to 90ml developer)

• Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous, creamy consistency is achieved

• OTT Oxydant is the perfect pairing for Majirel and should always be used together to ensure full benefits including softness, reduced smell, and ease of application 

Grey Coverage Guidelines:

• 0-50% grey hair: Use target shade alone (1 tube/60ml) with 90ml 20 volume OTT oxidant 

• 50-100% grey hair for natural/cool reflects: Mix ½ (30ml) target shade with ½ (30ml) natural base shade with 90ml 20 volume OTT oxidant 

• For warm reflects: Mix ½ (30ml) target shade with ½ (30ml) golden base shade with 90ml 20 volume OTT oxidant 

First Application on Virgin Hair:

1. Apply the mixture 1-1.5 cm from the scalp to mid-lengths and ends 

2. Process for 10-15 minutes

3. Apply the mixture to roots and reapply to mid-lengths and ends

4. Process for an additional 20 minutes (total 35 minutes)

Root Touch-Up:

• Apply the mixture only to regrowth area

• Process for 35 minutes 

Lengths and Ends Refresh Guidelines:

• If only slightly faded: Take through to lengths and ends 5 minutes before the end of development time 

• If reflect is missing: Process for 20 minutes, then take through for 15 minutes 

• If completely faded: Add 10-15ml of warm water to the remaining mixture before taking through immediately 

Rinse and Finish:

1. At the end of the processing time, gently emulsify by adding a small amount of lukewarm water to remove color from the scalp 

2. Then add a few drops of warm water and continue to emulsify

3. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear

4. Follow with a post-color shampoo (such as L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Metal Detox shampoo)

Pro Tips:

• For best results, use with L'Oréal Professionnel OTT Oxydant 

• The 20 volume will give 2 levels of lift and is used for grey hair coverage rules 

• The 30 volume will give 3 levels of lift 

• To maintain color vibrancy and care for the hair, use a color-protecting shampoo and a nourishing conditioner

• Apply with a brush on regrowth, lengths, and ends for precise application

• For custom color blending, mix 7.13 with other Majirel shades to create personalized formulations
